Office Christmas Party

The office Christmas party is definitely a big hit at the end of the year. Who wouldn't deny free food, free booze, and prizes? One year when the wrath of Katrina and Rita hit, we (the company) were swimming in moolah and therefor bonuses and Christmas cheer were overflowing. Sad how such tragedy for some can be Christmas green for others.
Someone.. ahem.. always has a little too much Christmas cheer and then begins to make a fool of herself, only to be reminded this time of year of such foolery. Not that I would know anything about siree bob. Luckily it wasn't anything like making bare butt copies or something crazy like that. Just enough to be ribbed every year. I can't help it that I'm a natural at Karaoke..ahem, they'll be calling for a singing contract soon, I'm just sure of it.
We didn't go last year, getting a babysitter and all is quite a task as she has to come in from OK. This year sounds like fun as their doing a little mock up casino to win prizes. I'm sure the Christmas spirit will be flowing again and luckily the place is literally down the street from us which is awesome. I'm hoping a babysitter will pull through as I know the fate of the office Christmas cheer is depending on me. Though I think they hid the karaoke this year, just to prevent any unfortunate mishaps.
Hubs has also informed me that it is imperative that I attend this year, babysitter or no babysitter. He states that he's been commenced by a higher power to ensure my attendance. He was not able to provide me any more information as he would be shot on sight. I have no idea what this means and can only guess that they will be providing Karaoke and that someone will be the entertainment for the evening. I really hope that this is not the case. I have a reputation to with hold sorta.

Oooooh!!! Fun!! I won't be attending any Christmas parties this year since we don't have babysitters, but I'll live vicariously through you. Drink up!
