Menu Plan Monday

Cool Mom Picks

This is my first menu plan Monday and I'm a little late to the party. I have been lurking through the great recipes and menus for a few weeks now. I love this idea! I have pretty much been doing a bi-weekly plan since January and it's really eased the stress level just knowing what is going to be fixed for dinner. I try to stick with a daily theme just to keep things different. I'm just not big on eating chicken three or four times a week. Sometimes it never goes through as planned but A plan is better than No plan.
-Monday is usually crockpot night as thats boyscout night. This Monday will be shredded crockpot chicken.
-Tuesday is pasta night -Hamburger Mac & Cheese
-Wednesday is meat and potatoes night -Steak filets and baked potatoes. Hubbys always up for grilling.
-Thurdsay is tex-mex night -Beef enchalidas with chips and salsa
-Friday is pay day we usually go out to eat every other Friday.

What's up with men, meat and grilling? My husband and teen love to grill.

Welcome to menu plan monday! Isn't it great when the men help out by grilling? It takes no time at all to throw together a side item and the clean up is a piece of cake!

Hello and welcome! I definitely agree..a plan is better than no plan. I don't menu plan my weekends because sometimes if I don't get to a particular menu then I can just move it to the weekend and I don't waste the groceries I purchased for that particular meal.

Glad you joined in the fun!

If you're late to the party, then so am I! This was my first week participating too. Your menu looks great. I know what you mean about not wanting to eat chicken (or anything else for that matter) several times a week! Planning really does help!
