Not To Toot My Own Horn But...

I may or may not have mentioned my small addiction to the March Madness finals tournament. I am going to honestly tell you right now that I don't follow college basketball until that first weeks of the tournament. In other words, I have no clue who is/was really good through out the season.
I will say that I study the sports writers brackets as if they were a college exam. I then proceed to fill out my bracket souly based on a hunch. I've been doing this for a few years now and have become so competitive at the office that I don't think the guys at the office liked me to play, cause uhm well by some miracle, I tend to hold my own and kick butt. It never fails that I lead for most of the tournament and then on the final two my pick bombs. Coming in second feels mighty good considering I'm always the only girl, and I'm always the only one who really doesn't even follow the basketball.
With all that said, I played the brackets this year with a whole bunch of bloggers -were talking almost 200 entries! Way more people than I've ever competed against, not counting the national bracket. I would just like to say that at this very moment I'm in 3rd place! How dare Michigan State come in think they can own the place? Though, they killed my Louisville, whom I picked to win (I went way off the beaten path this year) if by some miracle Michigan State wins there's a slim chance I could be the winner, since the other two picked UNC. Like say my chances are slim since at the half it's 50 something to 34.
I still think tooting my horn over this is acceptable.
That my friends is the last time I will talk of sports until Fall. Your welcome.

*Updated to add: since the win of UNC I completely toppled to 47th place..typical*

I've never done one of these bracket things, sounds like fun though. :)

Yikes! That's a big topple!

I love doing brackets. This is the first year that I haven't done one. I do have to say that Glen will likely not be your friend anymore since he is a die-hard tarheel fan. Let me tell you it was a bedlam battle in the house when they played OU. I told him he was on the couch for a month! Hmph! I had messages from friends saying they hoped he choked on a chicken wing! Hehe. Well, at least he's happy now!
