Book Review: Michelle Style by Mandi Norwood
Despite anyones political affiliation, most people would agree that First Lady Michelle Obama has grace and style similar to Jackie Kennedy. She is beautiful and dresses in a modern way that every woman can relate with.
The book Michelle Style is all about Mrs. Obama's syles of dress from the past couple of years on the campaign trail, through the inauguration. The book is broken down by color and then commentary is made from each designer. Michelle Style also takes the every day woman through what style works with each color and what accessories accentuate to finish off the look.
I really enjoyed going through the book and seeing all of the great dresses Mrs. Obama has worn for various functions. I found it really interesting that almost all of her clothing is designed by designers from the good old U. S. of A. Most of whom we all would recognize like Tommy Hilfiger and J. Crew. Who ever thought someone as prestigious as the First Lady actually wears something that a normal woman and mother would also possibly wear?
The black and white sheath dress she wore on The View caused a huge frenzy at The White House Black Market as everyone of every age and size wanted that adorable dress. Mrs. Obama proved that day that she's just like one of us, probably something we as a nation haven't seen from a first lady in awhile.
Another thing I found interesting in the book is the first lady is not afraid to use her own favorite accessories and use them over and over with different outfits.
Michelle Style is a great coffee table look through book, that would be a great gift for the fashionista in your life. The pages are full of vibrant pictures of Mrs. Obama, stories behind the look and dress, and tips for fashion do's and don'ts for every color and style.

That does sound like a neat book - I love her fashion sense!
I think she looks like a man in a dress most of the time. Have you seen the guns on that woman?
