Books On The Brain

Today was the first day since we've lived here that I was able to reserve books on my TBR list and actually get them. Long story short, it was the first time that I didn't have a hold on my account due to some child of mine squandering an over due book behind his bed.
I could not wait to get home and dive in. I seriously thought of just skipping out on the whole blogosphere today and just spend all my "free time" reading. I guess I love you guys to much to do that.
I'm having a hard enough time deciding which to read first. The Spellman Files series or Life of Pi which I've had on my list forever.

I was going to give you guys a top 10 of my most favorite reads. I'm embarrassed to say I couldn't come up with a good 10 yet. Maybe by Thursday I'll come up with 13. I will admit that I went through a long drought of barely reading at all during my working days, so I'm doing my best to catch up now and that's probably why I can't come up with a good 10 off the top of my head.

I'm not sure why I'm bothering to tell you all this, maybe because if you don't see my presence well known for the next few days, you know where I'll be.

I really feel like I'm rambling at this point and don't even know why I'm bothering to post.

I have the same problem, though...I can't think of 10 books to read! Now that I have discovered inter-branch loan at the library it is very disappointing that I can't think of things to read...
