Yo Plus Yogurt Review and Give Away

*Giveaway is now closed and winners have been contacted.*
The week after next will be the start of Lent which is a time when various religious groups begin a time of fast. I say this because it's at this time that I really try to challenge myself to eat healthier and drink less or no caffeinated beverages. I know this may sound strange to choose to eat healthier during this time than say New Years day. I like that I have a certain set amount of days (40) and it's already marked on the calendar.
Now your wondering what in the world this has to do with yogurt? Nothing really but it couldn't have come at a better time when I'm preparing to begin my 40 day challenge of eating and "drinking" healthier. The folks at YoPlus have some great info on how this yogurt helps to maintain good digestive health as well as whole body health.

Yo-Plus is one of the newer lines of yogurt from Yo Plait that aides in digestion with added nutrients like fiber, vitamin A and vitamin D. They also have a new great flavor Blue Berry Acai.
The boys and I tried YoPlus this week and we all really liked it. I'm usually not a big blue berry fan when it comes to my yogurt but this was good and creamy. The boys really liked it a lot. I could tell there was something different about the yogurt as though there was something extra added to it. I couldn't quite put my taste buds on what the something was, but knew it wasn't my typical YoPlait yogurt. This doesn't mean that it was a bad thing in anyway at all. I don't think the boys even noticed.
Overall: I'm all for the added benefits of extra fiber and vitamins in my yogurt. The flavor is great and the texture is creamy and just right for yogurt.
If you'd like to get your hands on some good for you yogurt Yo-Plus is offering a coupon to all of you.
If that's not enough, how about a sweet giveaway to go along with it? How about a giveaway for 3 lucky winners?
Here's what you'll get: A very large tote bag great for a trip to the gym, or just toting tons of stuff, a water bottle, a mini notebook to track your healthy eating, and a coupon for free 4 pack of Yo Plus yogurt.
All you have to do is leave a comment mentioning at least one healthy habit that you are doing now or a healthy habit that you know you need to work on. I'll leave the contest open until Friday night Feb 27th.

Great contest! I'm trying to add more fruits and vegetables to our diet right now - at the very least, my goal is to make sure every family dinner has at least one vegetable in it, something I've been very lax on for awhile now.

Well, I did the whole 40 day sugar fast. I am off it now, and I will NEVER go back! LOL But does that count?

My friend is doing a diet plan where you only eat when you are hungry and you eat slowly making each meal last 30+ minutes. Along with drinking more water, I want to unofficially give her program a try. I would love to try the Yo-Plus.

I have stopped drinking sodas and drink more bottled water. I also quit eating sugar and starch snacks. Instead I eat a banana, cup of yogurt or a handful of almonds.

One healthy habit we need to work on is eating dinner at home and less getting carry out food. It's too easy to stop by a drive through when you're tired and busy, but so unhealthy. Thanks.

We are always eating healthy. lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains. Planned meals and shopping with a list help us eat even healthier. plus we dont really like junkie and sugary foods. But we arn't exercising enough. So we really need to work on that! I had my son in October and still have lots of baby weight I need to exercise to get rid of.

Thank you for the entry!
