I began to sit down in my normal spot on the recliner, to veg on the laptop, when a huge pop sounded and smoke came out from under the recliner. To say it scared the beejeebus out of me is an understatement. To our chagrin, when we lifted up the recliner, I had snapped the laptop chord with the rocker of the recliner! Lovely!
So...with that being said, I'm running on a full battery now but for the most part I'll be out of commission on the laptop until we get a new chord, which will probably be awhile. There's always the boys' computer but their not always to willing to share. I'd have to wait til Monday to have full use of hub's puter. He just looovvveeesss it when I get on his puter. He is none to pleased with this outcome.

Oh that stinks! I once got my cell phone stuck in a similar position and cracked the screen - not my finest moment.
I am so sorry. That is really sad! Get a cord soon. If you have to sell one of your offspring...well, which is more important? :)
