Boo Mama's Christmas Tour Of Homes

Welcome to my humble abode!

I would take you to the tree first but it's in the den and I might as well show you what little I have in the living room. I don't really go hog wild at Christmas, just enough to make me happy.
This is my coffee table with Christmas trees I made out of magazines. I thought of painting them but I kind of like the way they are. By the way my coffee table is never this clean there's always something else besides pretty on it.

This is our Wii paraphernalia cabinet/nativity shelf/faux fireplace. You can picture a cozy burning fireplace below if you want to. Pardon my guitar..I plan on going on tour someday...ahem.

Next is an entry shelf to the den. My little snow men. I couldn't think of anywhere else to put them and the nativity shelf would have probably been a bit off.

Where I slack in the rest of the decor department of the house, I try to make up for on the tree. I admit it's probably not the most beautiful tree you've seen but it helps to feed my craft craving. I try to make a few different ornaments every year. I've still got a lot of work to do. This tree used to be pretty stinkin bare for the longest time. There used to be only a few baby keepsake ornaments and a few ornaments given to me by my MIL. Other than it was just tinsel and bows. Sad really.

Yes I'm showing off me with the tree. I was on my way to my hubs Christmas party. I figure it's not every decade that I'm dressed up like this. Sad that I will probably never wear that dress again. At least it's getting good use being uploaded on the blog. That should count as wear right?
A little photo cropping wouldn't have hurt..sorry.

This is some of the ornaments I've been crafting. These are going on teacher presents and what not. If you want to see more close ups of my ornaments and the tree, take a looksee at the post below this one. There's some links to great tutorials on how to make them. I didn't want to beat a dead horse by posting them again. I had to throw in a couple of "Longhorn" reindeer for good measure and counter balance with some Sooner reindeer. We're a house divided in these parts.

A group of reindeer is called a herd right?

Santa's helper is checking his list twice or maybe it's just his ABC's. Hope your all on the good list and have a Merry Christmas!

Love the idea for the Christmas tree made from magazine pages as well as the reindeer puzzle ornaments. The dress is really cute, btw - you should totally invent some reasons to wear it again!
