Good Bye Old Trusty

My hubs decided that it was time for him a new laptop and for me to get his hand me down. It seems to always be that way when it comes to technological gadgets. Why does the hubs always get the brand spankin new toy?

Anyways I got his mini laptop, the one he coveted for so long. He wanted something small and compact to take along with him when he flies. Now begrudgingly, I have it. Not that there's anything wrong with it, except for the fact that for some odd reason it does not hold a wireless connection very well. I haven't figured it out. Hubs says it's just me. Cause you know somehow I am the one making it disconnect by leaving it unattended for a period of time causing it to disconnect. This new one also has that "new" Windows system that starts with a V. V and I don't have a good relationship. This all goes back to my tech support days. I suppose I will have to deal with the change.

Old trusty pretty much bit the dust. I'm still hoping with all hope that IT surgeons hubs will be able to save my "stuff" on old trusty. I loved him so. Even though he was big and bulky, he had character with that missing Enter key on the key pad. Plus of course he has my precious moments held hostage. My vintage photo editing software that did not require a masters degree in graphic design to use was on there, along with all of my blog header masterpieces.

I know what your saying, that I should have uploaded all my photos to photo hosting sites. Your right, I uploaded most of the ones I really liked. It's those random hundreds of unedited ones that I had on Old Trusty, I didn't upload.

Another thing I will miss is my Internet favorites are in that one. Lots of just random websites that I would find on the net that every once in awhile I would refer to. This one is just not the same.

**We interrupt this blogging winefest for this silly discovery...blogger/picaso has every photo I've ever uploaded saved on the Picaso site. I now take back this silly sob story post that I've lost all my pics. Please forgive my idiocy.**
