Easy Like Sunday Morning

For some reason I just felt like making that the title. I'm crafty like that..not really.
I hope you guys don't mind some randomness on a Sunday Evening. I've got things swirling around in the old thinker and where else can I get it out?

Guess what tomorrow is? Your good. Yep I start my new job of course at the same place..don't know if that counts but it sure does for me. Excited? Maybe a litle. Nervous? I think more nervous excitement.

I didn't get much done today. My dryer was doing crazy things like not working. Which really throws off the balance in the force and it makes me not want to do anything. I made a lame attempt at drying clothes on the fence line..which is very difficult when the wind is gusting at 30mph. Luckily hubs finally got around to looking at it and figured out it was the breaker. Whew!

Speaking of my very highly intelligent hubs. OH he's gonna love me for this. He decided he wanted to make his own torilla chips. We have the giant fry daddy thingy, but I told him we have very little oil. When I mean very little oil, I mean not enough to fill a giant frydaddy thingy. Hubs didn't listen and poured it all in thinking I guess it would be like one of Jesus' miracles of multiplying bread and wine only this time it would be oil. Yeah no miracle today. So hubs thought he would get all MacGyver like and pour Apple Juice into the vat o fat. I only wish I were joking. I'm still trying to figure out his reasoning on it. I think it was an attempt of desperation. He thought maybe it would give the chips some kind of apple flavor. Uh wrong it only made them soggy and well gross. He should know better as much Alton as we watch. I did mention he's highly intelligent right?
That's basically it. I've got a vat o laundry to get done.

Ick. Apple juice with oil. Double ick. But Alton... yum. He's one of my favorites. Do you watch "Feasting on Asphalt" every summer? We can hardly wait for this year's season.

Hope the new job went well on the first day!
