Trying to turn that frown upside down.

I think my monthly visitor is trying to put me in a pissy mood, but I will prevail. I will not let this post be about my b*tching and moaning. I'm thinking about you poor sweet people that actually have to read this and I'm sure you really don't want to hear read my woes. There's so many more people out in blog land that have legitimate things to complain about.
Instead of having a b*tch fest I'm going to make it into a grateful fest. We'll see how well this goes.

-I'm sick of being broke all the time.
-I'm grateful I have a half tank of gas to get me through the rest of the week and with the proper planning will only need a few things at the grocery store. I'm also grateful that we don't have a significant amount of debt, our vehicles are paid in full, we don't have any major credit card debt.

-I'm really sick of this ugly house with decor from the 1970's that I can do nothing about.
-I'm grateful to have a roof over my head and that it does have a dishwasher. It's all about the little things.

-I haven't been in any kind of mood to clean this house. Why bother when it's just going to go to sh*t again in ten seconds flat?
-I did do a little yard work, laundry, and straightened the living room today. Nothing substantial but something is better than nothing.

-I haven't been thrilled with some changes going on at the office
-I'm grateful to have a job that I can pay daycare with a little extra left to keep us a float.

-It's frustrating that I feel there's not anything exciting to do around here (plus little money to do it).
-I did enjoy being out on the slipnslide this afternoon with the boys, and spending time with Gameboy doing yard work. I did get to complete the 300 piece puzzle through the week. It keeps my mind doing something else other than watching the boob tube and surfing the net. Were just a plethora of excitement around here.

That's about all I have to complain about. Do I feel better? Nah not really, but it was nice to vent and reflect at the same time.

This is kind of a cool exercise and a great way to vent and find ways to be thankful. I feel the same way as you about many of them, especially having little money... Hugs.
